Brazil sold more basic and manufactured goods. Airplanes, engines and electric generators are among the items that had high in exports
Brazilian products continue to gain more and more space in the foreign market. In the third week of December, the country exported much more than it imported. Sales abroad, in this period, exceeded imports by US $ 1.268 billion.
The data was released on Monday (18) by the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services and indicate how much Brazil has strengthened in the international market. The daily average of exports in the third week of the month grew 16.2% compared to the second week.
Both commodities and manufactures performed well. The country, in the third week of December, exported much more crude oil, iron ore, coffee beans, beef and soybeans. Also sold more rolled iron or steel, taps and valves, airplanes, engines and electric generators.
In the accumulated of the year, Brazil exported US $ 64.3 billion more than it imported. This result is a difference of US $ 209.5 billion in foreign sales and US $ 145.2 billion in imports.
