The Special Secretary of Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy (Sepec / ME), Carlos Da Costa, opened on Wednesday (28/8), the agenda of Mobilization for Employment and Productivity, in a meeting with authorities from the state of Mato Grosso. Cuiabá (MT) was the first municipality in the Midwest region to host the event that was attended by the president of Sebrae Nacional, Carlos Melles, official partner of the federal government program.

The first appointment was a technical visit to the facilities of the Sebrae Sustainability Center, awarded in March 2018, as the most sustainable building in use in the Americas, and the best building voted by the world's popular vote, at the Breeam Awards 2018, hosted by British institution Building Reserch Establishment (BRE).

During his visit to the Sebrae Sustainability Center, Da Costa stressed the Centre's harmony with the federal government's plans. "Our focus, like yours, is small business, sustainability and productivity. Only then will we be able to unlock the country's economy," he said.

In the evening, Da Costa met with authorities, politicians and representatives of the productive sector where he can explain Mobiliza Brasil's goal: to map the barriers that hinder local economic development. He also had the opportunity to visit Fatec Senai / MT's facilities - the largest unit in the country, with 37,000 m2 of area for vocational education and innovation for the industry - and can talk to students of robotics, from the healthcare area. and baking.

On Thursday (29/8), at the Pantanal Events Center, the secretary spoke to a hundred people who moved from some cities of the state, in caravans, to know the proposal of Mobilization for Employment and Productivity.

“In the 1990s, while the world got rich, we were falling behind. And why were we staying? Because we were slowly destroying our markets. We were gradually stealing the freedom of our entrepreneurs. We were erasing the pride of the Brazilian who began to tire of being chased by all kinds of obstacles, as if businessman were a villain and this has already changed. In this government we recognize that it is the daily life of companies that matters, because this is where we will see Brazil grow, "Da Costa told federal and state deputies, mayors, public agents and businessmen attending the event.

The secretary explained that the program will go through all federation units to mobilize local governments and representatives of the productive sector, in order to approve public policies that can simplify the lives of those who produce and generate jobs and income.

He also presented Sepec's flat macros: Brasil 4.0, Emprego Mais, Pró-Mercados, Pró-Infra and Simplifica. In his presentation, he emphasized the satisfaction of knowing the Sebrae Sustainability Center, its projects and the importance of presenting its work line for the whole country, which matches the federal government's plans. “The focus of Sebrae Sustainability is small business, sustainability and productivity. And that is exactly what we want to propose. A business environment that suits the needs of the entrepreneur, according to his region, without obstacles and can generate jobs, ”he said.
