Revenue releases 6th batch of refund for more than 2.3 million taxpayers

More than R $ 2.8 billion are available for bank credit; beneficiaries have one year to extract the value of the refund

he Federal Revenue released on Thursday (16), the payment of the sixth batch of refund of Individual Income Tax (IRPF) 2017. Will be contemplated 2,358,433 taxpayers, a total of R $ 2.8 billion. The lot includes residual refunds for the period 2008 to 2016.

To find out if the statement has been released, the taxpayer can access the Revenue website or call the Receitaphone 146. The query can also be made by the application, available for Android and iOS systems, on tablets and smartphones, which allows consultation of the declarations and to the cadastral situation in the CPF.

The refund is available for one year. After this period, the citizen must request the value through the internet, with the Electronic Form - Request for Payment of Restitution, or directly in the e-CAC, in the Extract Processing Service of the Declaration of Income Tax on Individuals.

If the amount is not made available in the account, the taxpayer should personally contact any branch of the Bank of Brazil or call  the Service Center at 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (for the hearing impaired only) to schedule the current account or savings account, on your behalf, at any bank.
