Until 17h this Monday (17), the IRS systems have already received almost 12.4 million statements of Individual Income Tax 2017 (IRPF 2017). The expectation is that by 28 April 28.3 million people will submit the declaration by the deadline.
The Revenue warns that taxpayers who miss the deadline will be subject to a minimum fine of R $ 165.74 and a maximum of 20% of the tax due.
This year, the Receitanet program was incorporated into the PGD IRPF 2017, ie it is no longer necessary to install the tool separately.
Partnership with universities
Accounting students from several universities are assisting the population in completing and delivering the Income Tax Declaration 2017, through a partnership with the Federal Revenue Service. Check here all 190 service centers.
During March and April, students take part in seminars at universities, in order to provide explanations about DIRPF / 2017, under the supervision of an accounting professor at the institution.
