Non-imposition by the Government of Argentina of anti-dumping duties on Brazilian exports of wood slabs

Investigation terminated without the adoption of any surcharge

The Brazilian Government noted with satisfaction the termination of Argentina's antidumping investigation into wood slabs exported by Brazil without the adoption of any surcharge. The Argentine investigative authority concluded that there was no dumping of Brazilian exports to that country.

Through coordinated action between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy, the Brazilian Government followed all stages of the investigation conducted by Argentina, seeking to demonstrate that there was no justification for the imposition of anti-dumping duty.

This is a positive result for Brazilian exporters and for the economic-trade relationship between Brazil and Argentina.
