Survey of the National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave) reveals that October was a significant month for the resumption of growth in vehicle sales. According to the document, which is  based on the vehicle registered by Denatran, the  commercialization of automobiles, trucks, buses, motorcycles, light commercials, road implements and others grew 20.98%, compared to the same month of 2016, and reached 282,363 units.

The advance is driven by sales of light commercial vehicles (pickup trucks, vans and vans), which represent the vast majority of the license plates and grew 26.9% in the month, also compared to October 2016.

"This is the first month in which we have seen positive results for all segments added, which shows us an evident tendency of recovery of the Sector for the next months", celebrates Alarico Assumpção Júnior, president of Fenabrave.

The president of the federation also said that the month of October ends a cycle of falls in the Distribution Sector. "The excellent performance registered in the automobile and light commercial vehicle components, accompanied by the gradual improvement of the other segments, is a reflection of the improvement in the economic indexes, such as the drop in unemployment and the interest rate, as well as the reduction of delinquency levels and inflation rates, which influenced consumer confidence at the time of purchase, "he concluded.
