More than 3 thousand services are offered on the same digital platform

Digital transformation

Advance is part of the government's effort to modernize the state and simplify access

Public service delivery has become more robust this Friday (21/6). The portal gov.br now has more than 3000 registered public services in your environment. The advance is part of the collaborative effort of government agencies to modernize the state and simplify access to services by society.

Every time a citizen needs information about a public health, education, employment, legislation, water and sanitation, economy and finance, culture and even weather forecast, just go to gov.br portal. In addition to the details on the face-to-face service, about 45% of the services registered in the platform are part of the digital public services that citizens can enjoy without leaving home.

Among the services that can be obtained by digital means are the obtaining of the work card, the military enlistment, the consultation to the National Qualification Card (CNH), the issuance of the International Veterinary Certificate, the donation of seedlings of the Botanical Garden of Rio de January, the qualification to access the reduction of import tariffs of auto parts and the Restitution or Compensation of Credits (CVM).

To accelerate digital transformation, a set of solutions and tools has supported the organs of public administration. Only this year more than 100 public services were digitally transformed. The goal is that this number reaches 1 thousand by the end of 2020.

Through the GovBr Network, the federal government is also implementing partnerships with states and municipalities for the transformation of public services of these entities of the federation and integration in the same place. Joining the network and integrating the single portal broaden the offer and dissemination of services to society and encourage partnership with other federative entities.

The secretary of Digital Government of the Ministry of Economy, Luis Felipe Monteiro, points out that only then will the Brazilian State be more efficient, with a more agile business environment and more convenience for the population. "Citizens do not want to know who is responsible for the service, but rather that it is provided with quality and speed," he said.
