Ministry of Economy and Army enter into cooperation agreement

Union Heritage

Text provides for the exchange of technologies, databases and planning, and execution of projects related to asset management.

It was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) this Wednesday (9/18), the extract of the technical cooperation agreement   established between the Secretariat of Coordination and Governance of the Union Heritage (SPU / ME) and the Army Command, through the Army's Department of Engineering and Construction (DEC). The cooperation established by the document is restricted to activities in the real estate area.

The text provides for the exchange of technologies, knowledge, information, databases, training of human resources, preparation, planning and execution of projects related to the property and property management of the Union or of its interest. "Here at SPU we have the same principles and purposes that are used by the Army in its zeal for the Union's assets. We are managing to boost the country's growth, especially in the socioeconomic aspect," explained Fernando Bispo, Secretary of Coordination and Governance of Heritage. of the Union.

Training
One of the major advantages of the agreement is that it allows SPU and Army staff to be trained in face-to-face or distance learning courses. “We are just putting on paper something that was already being dealt with. It is a synergy where we can help and be helped, said the head of the Army Department of Engineering and Construction (DEC), General Claudio Moura.

The agreement does not involve transfer or financial resources between the parties and is effective until September 30, 2022. The partnership was recently standardized, but the exchange between SPU and DEC is already taking place. An example was the drone operation training course, promoted in partnership by the agencies. Army technicians trained officials from SPU central agencies and state superintendencies to oversee the irregular use of urban areas, beaches, riverbanks, navy lands and water mirrors, among other public goods. owned by the Union.

“The cooperation process already exists. We just formalize it and endorse it. From this agreement, we discover new opportunities to share knowledge and improve control and production systems. Who wins is Brazil ”, concluded General Alípio Valença, director of real estate and environment of the Army.
