According to data from Seplan, the measure with the greatest impact is the withdrawal of inactive accounts from the FGTS, which will inject alone R $ 34.5 billion into the Brazilian economy and have a GDP effect of 0.48 percentage point.
The federal government announced the withdrawal of inactive accounts as a way to accelerate economic growth with direct impacts on the economy in the short term. The draws have been released since last Friday (10) and follow a schedule that runs through June 31.
Besides the withdrawal of inactive accounts, the change in parameters in the Minha Casa Minha vida program has the potential to inject R $ 8.6 billion into the economy. The use of FGTS for real estate acquisition of up to R $ 1.5 million will have an impact of R $ 4.9 billion.
