First gov.br network workshop brings together governments from RS, GO and DF

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

During three days, managers became aware of the novelties in the digitization of the services

The first digital transformation workshop of the gov.br network met for three days (21-23/5), at the National School of Public Administration (Enap), representatives of the governments of the states that are already part of the initiative, such as Rio Grande do Sul South, and even those who can still join, such as the Federal District and Goiás.

Manager Marcelo Jesus, from the Goiás Administration Secretariat, characterized the Rio Grande Sul experience as a motivator: "The gauchos are, in my perception, ahead of our state and the meeting serves as inspiration and exchange of experiences."

José Ignácio Jaeger Neto, from the Data Processing Company of Rio Grande do Sul (Procergs), acknowledged that there are different levels of maturity in the states and that his state still has much to do. "But for all of us it's worth it because we can learn from others and exchange experiences with those who are starting out," he said. Jaeger Neto also highlighted the possibility of partnerships with both the federal government and other states.

Among the practices that can replicate in his state, the Goiano Marcelo Jesus cited the census of public services, which was conducted in the federal government between 2017 and 2018. The survey, unpublished in Brazil, resulted in the discovery of more than 2,800 services public services provided by the federal public administration, currently gathered in a single portal, servicios.gov.br.

The participation of representatives of the Government of the Federal District in the workshop, in the words of Felipe Teixeira, of the Civil House, is a first step to join the digital government. "We have many services that are scattered and still analog, so we are absorbing a lot of knowledge to be able to turn our services into digital," he said.

The Special Secretary of Debureaucratization, Management and Digital Government of the Ministry of Economy, Paulo Uebel, stressed the importance of the participation of all the federative units in the network, in a message presented at the closing of the meeting. "The idea is that all Brazilian states can be part of this network, which will share experiences, technology, infrastructure and knowledge to better serve the Brazilian citizen," he said.
