Executives attend capacity building on challenges of strategic government sectors

MANAGEMENT

At the opening of the course, secretary highlights good practices of public governance and networking between agencies

The Secretary of Management of the Ministry of Economy, Cristiano Heckert, defended the need for collaborative work between agencies to increase the efficiency of the public machine. By attending, on Friday (2/8), the opening of the training course  for strategic servers of the Federal Public Administration, he said that the country is in a context of contingency that gives the opportunity to learn to do more with less. “This is the time to network to streamline processes and gain productivity in public administration,” said Heckert.

The program is conducted by the Secretary of Management of the Ministry of Economy (Seges / ME), in partnership with the National School of Public Administration (Enap). The objective is to discuss content focused on the development of competencies of ministerial advisers, chiefs of staff and undersecretaries of Planning, Budget and Administration (Spoas).

For Enap President Diogo Costa, all innovations in the public sector are the work of Spoas. “With this course, I hope we can move forward and make society more prosperous and productive,” he said.

Secretary Cristiano Heckert also highlighted the importance of Spoas' work in diagnosing strategic data made available through management panels developed by ME. In June, Seges launched the X-Ray panel, a technology solution that presents a photograph of each agency's strategic data - administrative costing, real estate, information technology, digitization of services, functions and commissioned positions.

“The tool aims to subsidize the undersecretaries, executive secretaries and ministers in the daily management. We count on Spoas' work to make a diagnosis of the information available and, based on these reviews, work together, ”added Heckert.
