Economic Freedom MP goes for presidential sanction

Bureaucratization

Measure makes business environment favorable to micro and small entrepreneur and can generate 3.7 million jobs in 10 years

The Senate approved last Wednesday (21/8) Provisional Measure 881/2019 , known as the MP of Economic Freedom. The text brings bureaucracy and process simplification measures for companies and entrepreneurs. As it had already passed by the Chamber of Deputies, it now goes to the sanction of the President of the Republic.

The approval was celebrated by the Ministry of Economy for representing an advance in the process of opening the economy and simplifying the state. The special secretary of Red Tape, Management and Digital Government, Paulo Uebel, stressed that MP will improve the business environment, making it favorable to micro and small entrepreneurs.

"We are thus waiving licenses, licenses for low risk activities, allowing speed and speed for both opening and closing companies," said Uebel.

According to the MP, if environmental, condominium, neighborhood and labor laws are observed, any economic activity may be exercised at any time or day of the week. Changes made by Congress guarantee this operation even on holidays, without additional charges or charges.

The initial text did not require prior authorization from the public authorities for low-risk activities to support themselves or their families. Parliamentarians went further and extended the rule to all low-risk enterprises. If the classification of low-risk activities is not provided for in specific state, district or municipal law, this will be the responsibility of the Executive.
