São Paulo was the city that registered the most expressive drop in the index of default
Consumer default in the country fell 1.1% in the first half of the year compared to the same period of 2016. In the state of São Paulo, the same comparison, the fall was 1.6%. The data were released on Wednesday (26) by Boa Vista SCPC.
The consumer credit recovery indicator - which measures consumer exclusions from the delinquent registry - increased by 0.4% in the Country in the first quarter. In the state of São Paulo, the increase was 1.4%.
The city of São Paulo registered a significant fall in the delinquency rate in the first quarter of 4.3%. The credit recovery indicator in the municipality improved, with a 0.7% increase.
