Employer

Tool will be responsible for integrating the routine of more than 8 million companies and 40 million workers

The eSocial computerized system makes available, from this Tuesday (1st), access to the testing environment for all companies in the country. The objective is to prepare the productive sector for the beginning of the obligatory use of the platform, which begins on 1st Of January 2018 for companies with revenues in excess of R $ 78 million per year. Starting July 1, 2018, eSocial will be mandatory for all employers in the country.

The tool is a joint project of the federal government and will be the new form of information provided by the employer, integrating the routine of more than 8 million companies and 40 million workers.

When fully implemented, eSocial will represent the substitution of 15 government information services - such as GFIP, RAIS, CAGED and DIRF -  for only one. According to the Steering Committee, the implementation of the testing period focuses on the adaptation of the companies to the system and the improvement of the platform by the federal government.

To support the professionals of the companies that will have their access released to the testing environment as of today, the Manual for Developers, with the guidelines of use of the restricted environment , is already available in the eSocial portal .
