More than 7.7 million serves are expected in this second stage of FGTS release. R $ 11.2 billion is available
As of Monday (10), the agencies of the Federal Savings Bank will anticipate in two hours the opening hours. Most agencies will open at 8am to assist the Holders of Inactive Assignment Fund (FGTS) accounts in the withdrawal process. The attendance during special hours will be until Wednesday (12), and the total value available for withdrawal exceeds R $ 11.2 billion and is equivalent to 26% of the total.
The start of the service for the 7.7 million Brazilians born in March, April and May was scheduled for Monday (10), but was anticipated for last Saturday (8), when about 2.3 million workers (30% of the total) have already been automatically credited to their Cash accounts.
Balance of payments
Between March 10 and 31, Caixa registered payment of more than R $ 5.9 billion related to the inactive accounts of the FGTS. The amount is equivalent to 85% of the total of R $ 6.96 billion initially forecast for this phase. More than 3.7 million workers were born in January and February (77% of the total).
The payment schedule began on March 10 and runs through July 31. The citizen can deduct, in the self-service, values up to R $ 1,5 thousand, only with the password of the Citizen Card. For amounts between R $ 1.5 thousand and R $ 3 thousand, the service can be done with the Citizen's Card and password in the auto-service, lottery and corresponding Cash.
Above R $ 3 thousand, serves must be made in agencies. Workers must always have the identification document and Work Card (or other document proving termination of the contract) at hand.
